Research topic: The TIC’S: as a 21st century learning tool

Methodology: 

Quantitative research will be implemented for this, questionnaires will be carried out taking as a reference a public school and a private one. The object of this research is to study the conditions in which students from institutions use ICTs in their academic activities on a daily basis.

Research Problem:

The new current of the 21st century requires the implementation of technological tools to facilitate the learning process, however, there is a great lack and ignorance of ICTs in the classroom, one of the reasons is given by the lack of help from of the Government and another is due to the ignorance of teachers who do not handle this type of technology, so they continue to focus on traditional systems that delay the learning process of students.

Field work:

A questionnaire will be applied that will provide us with data and allow us to analyze each of the variables to be measured, as well as obtain results and develop conclusions based on the opinion of young students.

Debugging, coding and tabulation process:

In the first stay, the questionnaires will be reviewed, with the aim of eliminating any errors and invalidating questionnaires if necessary, a coding will be carried out if there are open or semi-open questions with text answers that cannot be treated statistically, these will be codified for the purpose to give a statistical treatment. Then the tabulation will be carried out to extract from them various statistical data such as frequency counts, percentages, means, summations, etc.

Analysis and preparation of results:

Finally, with the tabulated data and the statistics provided, an analysis is carried out, from which a report is prepared that includes information on results, conclusions and recommendations.
